Oh wait...what's that big gap where the cabinets under the cooktop should be? OOPS! Small error which will take another 10 days to fix. Oh well, we've waited this long, what's another week or two.

Mythbusters

We definitely needed the Mythbuster team here in the kitchen. May have saved us some woe.
We decided to take down our two level kitchen bar and make one level. Terry, cleverly, made a plastic tent. "I'm going in" was the last thing I remember before a white cloud of adobe dust filled the house. Fortunately it was bedtime and the next day I was gone before daybreak but when I got home....oh dear. I have mopped, dusted and wiped for days. I have made some progress but not enough. Maybe Mythbusters could have showed us the tent thing was not the answer.

JULY 23RD, 2010 - KITCHEN DESIGN COMPLETED WITH OUR KITCHEN DESIGNER, BARBARA ALLEN.

JULY 30TH, 2010 - CABINETS ORDERED. FEELING PRETTY GOOD AND VERY EXCITED.

JULY 31ST, 2010 - WAKE UP IN COLD SWEAT. IS THE COLOR RIGHT? CALL BARBARA AND SHE ASSURES ME THAT ALL IS WELL. BARBARA DOES NOT EVEN GIVE A HINT OF BEING SORRY THAT SHE HAS GOTTEN INVOLVED WITH ME. GOOD FOR BARBARA.
